I'd like to start by welcoming you all and giving you a little bit of background information about myself. I have been to five colleges, coming back to Benedictine for the last time, because I had found my passion and calling in special education. The other schools I attended were for baseball scholarships, as I've played at the college, minor and semi-pro level. I know dicipline. I know how to give it 110 percent in order to work together for the results we want. We want your students to be the best they can possibly be, right? . That is why my philosphy is "high expectations equals high results." This is the way I will teach and run all of my 10th grade special education classes here at Wheaton Warrenville South. I have been here 2 years and I am looking forward to this one! 
I also take the time to really develop a rapport with your kids and see them as my students- no one else's. Thats why you can be assured they will be in good hands. I also love to work with the parents because we are a PARTNER when it comes to your child. I value your input and and ideas that you may have since parents are the ones who are around the child the most.
I believe in a happy, yet controlled environment. I have an established class plan but do not believe in yelling or screaming to get my point across. Therefore, I will take time just getting to talk to your child before class, after, or even after school. We are all in this together and I want it to feel that way. I know not everyone learns them same either so we will have MANY hands-on activities that will stimulate all levels and learning types to create a balanced educational program.
Last but definitely not least, I want to take this time to thank all of you for the trust you have put in me regarding your child. With that said, I will take care of them as if they are one of my own, treat them how I would like to be treated, practice good morals, and behavior plans outside of acedemics. I do not just picture the academic side of your child, but rather an entire being with a social life, hobbies, interests, and more that I am ready to roll up into one fun year to create an experience for your child that will last a lifetime.
